As the mother to three children, I really enjoy gathering
tips, resources, and all the best kept secrets for
kid-friendly activities and happenings around town, and
sharing them with other families. This is all wrapped up
into one website to bring exposure to our wonderful
family-friendly community, while being a helpful resource
to parents by offering ''one-stop shopping'' when it comes
to researching what's happening around town, or where
to find places you can pay a few dollars to let your toddler
run around and burn off some energy! So, in addition to
posting tips and encouragement for our serious parenting
journey, I've enjoyed building an extensive list of
businesses that cater to young children, a list of resources
that minister to our families, and a constantly updated list
of event happenings around town that promote fun
and family in one place. (Click on Activities &
Happenings for tons of local information!)

What you'll find here, are many universal parenting topics,
with the focus being what I consider foundations to
success in managing life with young children.  I'm
speaking of those basic things that can help our lives or
sabotage our efforts - household organization,
encouragement for our marriages, tips to establish
discipline techniques with our kids, as well as insight
helpful for our experience with our child's preschool or
childcare program.

The original tag line was 'in this together'  in recognition
that whatever your life experience, job title or economic
status, we're all part of "the club". You know - old sippy
cups found months later under the car seat, temper
tantrums from our child that can get the best of us, the
stress of getting our children to sit still at dinner (and
eating the food we make is just a bonus), and all that
craziness that happens in EVERY household with
children! "Together" also encompassed my focus of
home life, preschool life and community life; so I
adopted a new tag line that more easily defines what
Preschool Life is all about - something for everyone, I
hope!

Through polls, feedback forms and more, watch for
opportunities to share your tips or experiences.  Lets
collaboratively create a community of helping one another
along the journey.
